OVERVIEW
Two Dimensions, Cyberpunk and Fantasy, once completely separate and distinct, are now beginning to converge. Nothing can stop the convergence, but as Shepherd of the Convergence, you decide if the two dimensions will merge in Harmony or in Chaos!
Use your Staff of Convergence to strike beings you want to conjoin or split in this tight 2D puzzle platformer with 8-bit inspired Graphics and sounds!
MULTIPLE ENDINGS
Two Different Ways to play! Each with their own unique ending!
1. Separate all the Robots and the Creatures to ensure CHAOS ensues when the dimensions merge!
2. Conjoin them all into Cyborgs to facilitate HARMONY when the dimensions merge!
CHIPTUNE BEETHOVEN
Beethoven! That’s the right, enjoy the 8-Bit chiptune version of Beethoven’s 5th symphony arranged by me!
NES INSPIRED GRAPHICS
All colors in the game come from the NES Palette. And the restrictions on colors per sprite/background tile are loosely followed.
GAME JAM PROTOTYPE
This is a short prototype made for the 2023 Big Mode Game Jam. All Assets, graphics, sounds, code were made by me, Travis Battles, during the 2.5 week Jam!
The game was built on the free and open source HaxeFlixel framework. Sounds were made in sfxr. The chiptune Beethoven was made in FamiStudio.
UPDATES
- 3/7/2025: Converted the game to HTML build so it can be played In Browser!
- 4/5/2025: Big Update!
- MINIMAP! Part of a UI overhaul. A small minimap in the top left and a small timer on the top right of the screen replace the old UI.
- Redesigned Background Tileset.
- Redesigned the Level layout.
- Level now split into distinct Rooms.
- Camera is now Room-based, instead of constantly following the player.
- New Animations for Player and the Beings
- Controller Support!
- Platforming QOL (Coyote time, jump buffering, etc.)
